Our Mission

Smitten Stables is a nonprofit equine rescue and sanctuary dedicated to protecting horses and donkeys from neglect, abuse, abandonment, and slaughter. We provide rescue, rehabilitation, adoption when appropriate, and lifelong sanctuary for those in our care. By fostering meaningful relationships between people and equines through education, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach, we inspire compassion, preserve their dignity, and demonstrate the remarkable healing power these animals bring to our lives.
